The Fulltone Orchestra, founded by Musical Director Anthony Brown in 2017, is redefining the orchestral experience with electrifying, boundary-pushing performances that leave audiences spellbound. Featuring 65 exceptional musicians from the South West, the orchestra brings to life iconic music across genres, from awe-inspiring classical masterpieces to thrilling contemporary works. Each performance is an unforgettable journey, designed to ignite emotions and leave a lasting impression.
Known for daring projects like reviving Enya’s legendary “Watermark” album in a breath-taking live performance, huge Karl Jenkins performances in Bath, Wells and Tewkesbury and producing the vibrant Fulltone Music Festival, this orchestra doesn’t just play music, it creates spectacular, one-of-a-kind experiences that resonate with audiences of all tastes. Whether delivering spine-tingling classics or surprising innovations, Fulltone Orchestra promises magic in every note.

Our Musical Director & Conductor
Anthony Brown – “Tone”
Anthony Brown is the visionary behind The Fulltone Orchestra, which he founded in 2017 to bring his dream of performing powerful and genre-defying symphonic music to life. With a rich background in musical theatre direction, Tone’s approach to orchestral music is as dynamic and vibrant as his personality, ensuring each Fulltone concert is a one-of-a-kind experience.
The orchestra’s standout performances under his baton include Karl Jenkins’ The Armed Man with a massed choir, a rousing rendition of Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue at a major festival, and an unforgettable night of classical music at the magnificent Bath Abbey, on several occasions.
Tone thrives on creative collaborations, seamlessly blending the worlds of orchestral and theatrical performance and has so far worked with West End royalty – Kerry Ellis and Lucie Jones, Ricardo Afonso, Carly Paoli and Gareth Dafyyd Morris and his childhood idol, Aled Jones.
Looking to the future, Tone is spearheading several thrilling projects and plans to take the orchestra and musicians with him every step of the way.
